Each glass piece is cut by hand, then polish the edge before wrapping the copper foil. The edges of the glass pieces are wrapped with adhesive copper tape. Glass pieces with different shapes are put together according to the pattern. The edges of the glass piece need to be soldered together for a firm hold.

The glass pieces are welded together with tin solder. As a result, the glass will not vibrate and make a sound of glass when knocked with fingers. But you will hear the sound of glass when tapping with a metal piece, such as a fork. Stained glass is colored by adding metallic oxide powders while it is in a molten state. The colors are mixed together inside the glass pieces, so you will not see the true color if there is no light through the glass. The stained glass pieces are welded together with tin solder; The oil will protect the solder and make the glass pieces look brighter. We use mineral oil as a part of the finishing process. Please use a soft dry cloth to remove any excess oil.
